The tower-like form of this house surrounds each living space with the maximum of light, air and view, while allowing privacy within the modest floor area; each level is a world in itself. The vertical organization offers other benefits as well: the preservation of yard space and significant economies of construction and heating.
A footbridge connects an existing garage to the third floor entry level. Here the formal living, music and play spaces are combined behind a wall of glass doors shaded by the overhanging bedrooms above. On the roof a retreat with roof terrace commands distant views.
